He has a true love and passion for missions and under Bob Vineyard Ministries he is able to go around the world. He does extensive work in Cuba as an apostle to pastors.
He was brought up as a Baptist and through study has embraced the Spirit-filled life. He has attained various ministry degrees, including a Doctorate in Theology.
Christopher is the Senior Associate Pastor of Spirit and Word Fellowship and gives leadership to the staff, ministries, and groups of Spirit and Word Fellowship. Although he loves the hands on aspects of ministry, his passion is to mentor and develop leaders and empower them to grow in their calling.
Christopher leads Christopher Sakai Ministries which provides biblical teaching on faith, freedom from sin, and living a victorious life In Christ! His focus is dedicated to reaching people who have never heard the gospel, taking care of orphans and widows, feeding the hungry, and supporting the local church.
Christopher has over 20 years of experience serving in full time ministry. He began his time of ministry in Baltimore, MD where he graduated from The Master’s Commission. He has had the privilege to serve as an inner-city youth pastor, develop after-school programs for inner-city children, plant an inner-city church, and operate as lead pastor of a growing, international church in Baltimore County.

Jeff was born and raised in South Jersey (right outside of Philly…go Eagles). He is married to his amazing partner and beautiful bride, Hope. Jeff started his musical journey when he began to sing and play piano at the age of 8. Almost 15 years ago the Lord got a hold of Jeff and introduced him to the Holy Spirit and worship music. He hasn’t been the same since!
Jeff has a heart to serve. He uses his musical gifts to help others enter into a more intimate place of worship with the Lord. Jeff also uses his young spirit and humor to help direct and lead a group of students (grades 6-12) into a stronger relationship with the Lord.
After graduating from a small Bible Institute in Los Angeles, Jeff began leading worship for a variety of churches in ranging from Los Angeles to Virginia. Jeff joined our staff at Spirit and Word Fellowship in May 2016, where he feels honored and called to serve his amazing church family.
Christy is an Associate Pastor for Spirit and Word Fellowship and helps maintain the hub of the great work that’s being done for this congregation. She also is the gatekeeper for the Senior Pastor and his office. Although she loves being in the front office, she’d rather be on the front lines helping and praying for the church family. Part of that means facilitating the Women’s Sunday School class at 9:30am and watching the women grow and be edified.
Christy has a bachelors degree in leadership and management, 20 years being married to a senior pastor and has had the privilege to occasionally bring a Word to the congregation. But her true calling is producing small dramatic presentations to give the church body a different way to see the Scriptures.
She and her husband have been married for 20 years and have five children and four grandchildren. Her background and upbringing is in the Southern Baptist denomination, giving her a strong foundation in the Word, but became Spirit Filled and now looks to what we all have in common and not what we believe differently, as long as it doesn’t deny the fundamentals of the faith.
Gary is the Assistant Pastor of Spirit & Word Fellowship. Pastor Gary thrives when it comes to meeting new people and making them feel at home. He and his wife Patti will be one of the first people to welcome you when you first visit and then make you want to come back. Gary often makes hospital visits, visits the sick and checks up on everyone in the congregation for encouragement. Other areas where Pastor Gary lends leadership is as the General Adult Sunday School teacher. He brings a great word to this class at the 9:30 hour. And once a month organizes the Men’s Breakfast. He and Patti also oversee the Altar Ministry and Communion Ministry. Gary truly has a pastor’s heart. Gary has a passion for people, he enjoys talking to them about the Lord and ministering to them. Gary counts it a privilege, honor and blessing to serve at Spirit and Word Fellowship, and always an extra bonus to get to preach.
